A police officer reported seeing the zebras at 4:31 p.m. running north on Hegenberger Road near Edes Avenue, Officer J. Moore said.
Circus personnel were able to herd them back, Moore said.
The UniverSoul Circus opened a show in Oakland on March 5 at 633 Hegenberger Road, which is near where the zebras were spotted. The show wraps in Oakland on Sunday.
