The San Francisco Fire Department reports a sinkhole has developed in The City’s Bayview District Wednesday morning.
The hole, which is approximately 6 inches by 3 feet and growing, was reported at 10:46 a.m. at 1680 Evans Ave., fire officials said.
Fire officials advised people to avoid the area while Department of Public Works crews and police respond, fire officials said.
