At 9:07 a.m., CHP dispatchers first received a report of the crash at Primary Eyecare Optometics, located at 2687 Castro Valley Blvd., according to CHP officials.
While responding, officers learned a vehicle had crashed into the building and somehow flipped over, causing it to land on its roof, CHP officials said.
One person was trapped inside the vehicle.
Once officers were able to extract the victim from inside the vehicle, emergency crews transported the victim to Eden Medical Center with minor injuries, according to CHP.
Pacific Gas and Electric officials responded to the scene as well, CHP officials said.
