Shortly after 11:30 p.m., a 17-year-old male and a 57-year-old man were in a vehicle entering the intersection of Powell and Francisco streets when another vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign on Francisco Street and struck the driver’s side of their vehicle, police said.
The suspect vehicle, a black Dodge Durango, came to a stop and a male suspect fled the area on foot. The suspect has not yet been arrested, police said.
Officers said the teen suffered bruising and pain to his body, while the 57-year-old suffered pain to his ribs and knee.
The victims were taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for their injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.
