A pedestrian died Friday morning in San Carlos after being struck by a Recology garbage truck, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office received a 911 call about the collision at about 11:30 a.m. at Holly Street and El Camino Real, sheriff’s office spokesman Deputy Sal Zuno said.
Zuno said the driver of the truck is cooperating with detectives, who are investigating the collision.
