An elderly man was struck and killed by a car in San Francisco’s Outer Parkside neighborhood on Monday morning, police and medical examiner’s officials said Tuesday.
The collision was reported around 6:30 a.m. Monday at 41st Avenue and Pacheco Street, police said.
The victim, identified by the medical examiner’s office as 88-year-old San Francisco resident Jinrog Ouyang, was hit by a car traveling on Pacheco Street, police said.
He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
No other information about the crash was immediately available from police.
