A 62-year-old man was killed in a shooting during a home invasion in Richmond Monday night, a police spokeswoman said.
Officers responded at about 9:30 p.m. to the 6200 block of Sutter Avenue on a report of shots fired during a home invasion, Richmond police spokeswoman Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said today.
The victim, whose name was not immediately being released, was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, Abetkov said. Multiple suspects are believed to be involved in the case, but no arrests had been made as of this morning, according to Abetkov.
