A 3-year-old child was hit by a car while crossing 21st Street in San Francisco’s Mission District Thursday morning, authorities said.
The driver was turning onto Mission Street at 11:22 a.m. when the car hit the child walking in the crosswalk, police and fire officials said. The child was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Police said the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
