The San Francisco Giants’ World Series trophies tour is making a stop in Antioch Tuesday afternoon, according to team officials.
Fans will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Giants’ World Series trophies from 2010, 2012 and 2014 and are encouraged to make voluntary donations to their local Junior Giants youth baseball program during the event.
The viewing will take place at the Antioch Community Center at 4703 Lone Tree Way between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Fans will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, Giants officials said. San Francisco won its third World Series in five years when the Giants beat the Kansas City Royals last fall.
The tour for the three trophies started earlier this month and will continue with events Wednesday in Daly City and Thursday in Hayward. More information about the tour and upcoming dates can be found online at www.sfgiants.com/trophy.
