Bayview double shooting: 21-year-old killed, another man injured

The San Francisco Police Department said it’s investigating a double shooting Friday that left one person dead and one injured.

On Friday at about 1:21 p.m. officers responded to the area of 3rd Street and Palou Avenue in the Bayview neighborhood and found a 21-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital where he died.

A second victim, a 29-year-old man, was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The shootings came just a day after another incident. On Thursday morning a 28-year-old man was shot near Ingalls Street and Armstrong Avenue. The victim was taken to a hospital for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Francisco Police Department 24-hour-tip line at 415-575-4444, or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD.
