A 67-year-old motorcyclist died after he was struck Sunday by a hit-and-run driver on Bayshore Boulevard in the Bayview.
A motorcyclist in the Bayview neighborhood was killed Sunday morning in a hit-and-run traffic collision, San Francisco police said.
Officers responded at 8:52 a.m. to the 300 block of Bayshore Boulevard near Oakdale Avenue and located a motorcyclist down in the roadway. Authorities said officers rendered aid and the victim was transported to a hospital.
Despite life-saving measures, the 67-year-old male victim succumbed to his injuries.
Police are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run as the vehicle’s driver failed to stop after striking the victim, a police spokesperson said. No further details were provided.
