A man was found fatally shot in a vehicle in Vallejo on Wednesday evening and police said Thursday they are still looking for the suspected shooter.
The shooting was reported around 5:10 p.m. in the 400 block of Mark Street, where officers arrived to find the man fatally shot in the vehicle. His name has not been released.
Investigators said a suspect or suspects approached the victim and opened fire, then fled. More details about the case, as well as a possible motive, remain under investigation, police said.

The homicide is the seventh reported in Vallejo so far in 2022.
