Update: Police now say no arrest made in Tenderloin fatal shooting

A shooting in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood left a man dead early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The shooting was reported at 3:19 a.m. in the 100 block of Leavenworth Street.

At the scene, officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite attempts to revive the victim, he died at the scene, police said.

No arrest has been made in the fatal shooting and police are continuing to investigate.
