One person is in critical condition after a fire in San Francisco’s Western Addition on Friday morning, a fire department spokesman said.
The fire was reported at 7:13 a.m. in the 1200 block of Buchanan Street, where firefighters rescued three adults and a child from a building, San Francisco fire spokesman Lt. Jonathan Baxter said.
One of the adults was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to Baxter.
The fire caused damage to the building where it started as well as two adjoining structures, he said.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
