The Stockton Arts Commission announced Tuesday that it will be accepting applications for grants to support art within the community.
The commission will be awarding a total of $50,000, with grant increments ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 each per person or organization.
Applications will be accepted until Dec. 30 from arts organizations, art educators, individual artists, and arts collaboratives whose projects support, stimulate, and strengthen public engagement and access to the arts in Stockton.
Anyone applying for the grant must propose a project that will take place in 2022.
According to the commission, a broad range of artistic and cultural expressions reflecting Stockton’s diversity are encouraged and supported for the grant.
Eligibility requirements and criteria as well as the application are available. Applications must be completed and submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 30.
