A 19-year-old man died in a shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
The shooting was reported at 4:11 p.m. in the area of Third Street and La Salle Avenue, where officers arrived and found the victim, who was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries there.
His name has not been released.
San Francisco police have not announced any arrest or suspect details in the case. Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call the SFPD tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message.
