Vallejo police investigate suspicious death of 28-year-old woman

Vallejo police are treating as suspicious the death of a 28-year-old woman found not breathing Wednesday.

In a 10:53 p.m. tweet, the Vallejo Police Department announced it is investigating the case as a suspicious death, after responding to a 2:58 report of a woman not breathing at a residence in the 600 block of Alabama Street.

The Vallejo Fire Department responded and declared the woman dead at the scene.

Police urge anyone with information about the incident to contact the detective division at (707) 648-4524.

An autopsy report is still pending in another suspicious death investigation stemming from an August incident.
