A folded American flag and photograph found on Interstate Highway 580 in Livermore by California Highway Patrol officers on Thursday has been reunited with its owners.
The CHP on Friday announced the veteran memorial flag and case were claimed by the family of the veteran.
The family was reunited with the items after seeing media posts and a television broadcast, according to the CHP.
