Firefighters responded to a house fire in northeast San Jose on Monday afternoon.
The fire was reported a little after 1 p.m. and started as an exterior fire that eventually spread to the attic of a two-story home in the 2100 block of Warmwood Lane, according to the San Jose Fire Department.
Fire officials said the blaze was quickly knocked down.
Downed power lines and high winds that fueled the fire’s spread made it difficult for crews to control the blaze, according the fire department.
There were no reported injuries.
