Toppled tree wreaks havoc on power, property in El Granada

A tree toppled by strong winds Monday morning destroyed three cars, damaged a home and downed power lines in El Granada near Half Moon Bay, fire officials said.

Neighbors reported hearing loud booms when the tree fell, and fire crews responded, Cal Fire said on social media about 5:30 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries. PG&E was responding to the scene, officials said.
