Magnitude 3.4 earthquake hits near Santa Rosa

A preliminary magnitude 3.4 earthquake hit near Santa Rosa early Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 5:45 a.m. and was centered 1.8 miles east-southeast of Santa Rosa and less than 2 miles northwest of Trione-Annadel State Park, at a depth of 5.8 miles.  No injuries have been reported.
