Arson investigators and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the scene of a deadly house fire Monday morning in Cupertino.
Circumstances surrounding the fire have been deemed suspicious, said Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Russell Davis, but no other information has been released.
The two-alarm blaze was reported about 4:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of Tuscany Place.
One man was found dead in a back bedroom by firefighters. Two other residents managed to get out of the home, fire officials said.
Sheriff’s detectives and an arson investigator with the Santa Clara County Fire Department are at the scene, Davis said.
