A Santa Rosa man was arrested Saturday after a traffic stop led police to nearly 9 pounds of narcotics.
Officers pulled the suspect over about 10:15 a.m. on the northbound off-ramp to Highway 101 at Yolanda Avenue in Santa Rosa, police said in a press release.
During the traffic stop, a police dog alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in the car and a search turned up 6.6 pounds of cocaine in the trunk.
After obtaining a search warrant, police then searched his home in southeast Santa Rosa and found 1 pound of heroin and a half-pound of methamphetamine.
Investigators also seized items used for narcotics trafficking, including packaging material and scales.
The suspect was booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of possession for sale of methamphetamine and heroin, and possession for sale/transportation of cocaine.
