Officials say car may have sparked 25-acre fire near Pittsburg

A grass fire that authorities say may have been sparked by a car has burned 25 to 30 acres near Pittsburg on Sunday afternoon.

No structures are threatend by the fire, which was reported about 1:10 p.m., according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.

The blaze is burning off Kirker Pass Road and Nortonville Road, according to Cal Fire.
