Shooting at Father’s Day party leaves three people dead, five injured

Three people were killed and five people were injured, one critically, in a shooting at a Father’s Day celebration in Richmond Sunday night.

The shooting occurred around 10:55 p.m. at a residence in the 2100 block of Dunn Avenue, according to the Richmond Police Department. Family members described the party as a Guatemalan Marimba.

Police said no arrests have been made, and investigators are currently interviewing witnesses and survivors to determine the details of the shooting. They believe two shooters were involved.

No other information on the shooting was immediately available.
