Police investigate two separate overnight homicides

San Francisco police are investigating two separate homicides overnight with the first incident occurring just after midnight.

Police said officers responded to Navy Road Saturday in the Hunters Point neighborhood at 12:23 a.m. and located a 24-year-old male with gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

At 4 a.m., officers responded to another shooting report at the 500 block of Eddy Street in the Tenderloin. Officers found an adult male with gunshot wounds who was transported by ambulance to the hospital. The victim was later pronounced dead.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call the Police Department’s tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to text their tip to TIP411, beginning the message with SFPD. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
