Pittsburg fire holding at 5 acres, crews work to fully contain

Firefighters are responding to a vegetation fire in Pittsburg near John Henry Johnson Parkway and Leland Road, Cal Fire reported on Twitter at 6:01 p.m.

By almost 7 p.m., the blaze, dubbed the Henry Fire, had burned 5 acres and was holding, fire officials said. Full containment has not yet been reached. Contra Costa County Fire Protection District crews are working in cooperation with the Cal Fire Santa Clara Unit.
