Man dies in Livermore house fire

A man died in a one-alarm fire in Livermore early Friday morning, fire officials said.

Crews were alerted just before 5 a.m. to a residential fire in the 2400 block of Westminster Way, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Deputy Chief Jason Solak said.

Firefighters searched the home and located the man, who succumbed to his injuries, Solak said. No one else was injured.

The name of the man was not available Friday morning from the Alameda County coroner’s bureau.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Solak.
