Police seek final suspect in Fremont home invasion

Police in Fremont are asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted in connection to a home invasion robbery that left one of his associates dead.

Lajon Harris, 20, is wanted in connection to the home invasion robbery at the Mosaic Apartments. Police searched his home in Stockton last week but were unable to locate him.

Police say Harris was with Gerardo Landa-Sandoval, 20, of East Palo and one other unidentified man when the three tried to force entry into a unit at the Mosaic Apartments on March 10.

A resident of the unit fired a gun during the robbery attempt, killing the unidentified man, who was 19 years old.

Both Landa-Sandoval and Harris got away.

Landa-Sandoval was arrested April 20 near San Francisco International Airport. Officials confiscated a loaded gun in his car. He was charged with home invasion robbery and has since been released on bail.

Harris is known to frequent Stockton, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park and San Francisco.

Anyone with information about him is asked to call Fremont Police.
