Rain, possible thunderstorms make way through Bay Area Sunday

The National Weather Service forecast for the San Francisco Bay Area calls for mostly cloudy skies early Sunday morning with lows in the 30s and 40s.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy throughout the day, with rain expected to fall in the North Bay by late morning. Rain is expected to reach the South Bay by evening. Highs today will be mostly in the 50s.

Scattered showers are expected behind the front late Sunday night and Monday, along with low snow levels and possibly thunderstorms.
