Hit-and-run driver leaves elderly woman in critical condition

A hit-and-run collision in San Francisco’s Outer Mission neighborhood left an elderly woman with life-threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

The collision was reported at 12:53 p.m. in the area of Mission Street and Geneva Avenue.

There was no description immediately available for the driver or vehicle, which did not stay at the scene after the collision, police said.

The 80-year-old pedestrian was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries.
