Lafayette police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 17-year-old girl who went missing after running away from a group home Monday.
Maria Diaz was last seen Monday afternoon leaving the home in the area of Ivanhoe Avenue near Reliez Valley Road and Withers Avenue.
She is described as being about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, and was last seen wearing a teal shirt and navy blue pants.
