AC Transit bridges service during BART Oakland Airport Connector line shutdown

BART’s Oakland Airport Connector line is down Monday morning due to an electrical problem, according to the transit agency.

BART issued an alert shortly before 9:45 a.m. about the service disruption on the line that connects between the airport and BART’s Coliseum/Oakland Airport station. Shortly after 10:30 a.m., they said the AC Transit’s 73 bus is providing bridge service from the Coliseum to the Oakland Airport Connector.

More details about the problem and when service will resume on the line were not immediately available.
