San Francisco police confirmed early Sunday morning that the two children who were abducted Saturday evening have been found.
An Amber Alert was issued late Saturday evening for a stolen vehicle with the two young children, a 4-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy, according to police.
Police said the owner of the vehicle left the engine running while making a food delivery at approximately 8:50 p.m. in the 2100 block of Jackson Street, with the vehicle owner’s two children inside.
Shortly before 1:15 a.m., police confirmed the children and the stolen vehicle were found in San Francisco’s Bayview District.
The children will be medically evaluated and reunited with their parents.
The suspect or suspects are still outstanding and no suspect information is available at this time.
