Downed power lines shut down Cascade Drive

A tree fell down on power lines in Mill Valley, prompting the closure of a road Monday morning, police said.

The Police Department issued an advisory shortly before 10 a.m. about the fallen tree in the 200 block of Cascade Drive.

Firefighters and PG&E crews are at the scene, and power remains on in the area, according to police.

There is no estimate yet on when the road will reopen.
