A fatal fire was reported Tuesday night at a building that is part of the county jail complex in Santa Cruz, city officials said.
The city of Santa Cruz wrote Wednesday morning on Twitter about the fire at 265 Water St. Two other people were injured, including a firefighter.
No other details about the blaze were immediately available.
