Two Oakland men were arrested after a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon turned up four catalytic converters, El Cerrito police said.
Officers pulled over the Ford SUV for a traffic violation near San Pablo and Potrero avenues about 2:40 p.m. and found the converters, several battery operated saws, a floor jack, and an ounce of methamphetamine during a search.
The driver, a 22-year-old man, and a 35-year-old man, both from Oakland were booked and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.
