Police seek Civic Center shooting suspect who injured 36-year-old man

A 36-year-old man was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Civic Center area on Wednesday morning, according to police.

The shooting was reported around 6 a.m. in the area of Golden Gate Avenue and Larkin Street, a block north of Civic Center Plaza.

Officers responded to the report of the shooting but learned the victim had been taken to the hospital prior to their arrival to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

The suspect remains at large Thursday and police did not immediately release any other details about the shooting.
