Home invasion suspects fleeing police crash into unoccupied building

Two suspects were detained after a home invasion robbery in Fremont led to a pursuit that ended when the suspects crashed their vehicle into a building early Monday morning, police said.

The home invasion was reported on Ibero Way, and officers located the suspect vehicle on Mission Boulevard and initiated a pursuit that ended a short time later when the suspects crashed into an unoccupied building.

The names of the suspects are not yet being released. No injuries were reported during the home invasion, according to police.

Motorists should expect delays on Mission Boulevard between Sullivan Underpass and Niles Canyon Road Monday morning as a result of the crash, police said.
