A two-alarm fire reported late Sunday night at a commercial facility in San Leandro has been extinguished with no injuries reported, fire and company officials said Monday.

The blaze was reported at 11:14 p.m. at a Georgia-Pacific Corp. box plant at 2800 Alvarado St.

About 50 firefighters responded to extinguish the fire into the early morning hours Monday.

Shortly after 6:30 a.m., Georgia-Pacific wrote on Twitter that the fire was out, and the “facility expects to start back up this morning as scheduled. Thanks to all first responders who helped.”

More details about the blaze, including a possible cause, were not immediately available.
