Continued widespread haze and dense smoke is expected across the Bay Area Thursday and likely through the rest of the week, limiting sun exposure and lowering temperatures to seasonal averages, the National Weather Service said.
San Francisco and Oakland are likely to reach highs in the mid to upper 60s, with lows in the upper 50 with increasing clouds at night.
Palo Alto and Santa Rosa areas will be increasingly sunny Thursday afternoon, with highs in the mid to high 70s, and lows in the 50s at night.
A very slight warming trend is expected over the next few days and into the weekend.
