Authorities identify 44-year-old motorcyclist killed in Labor Day collision

A motorcyclist killed in a Labor Day collision in San Francisco’s North of Panhandle neighborhood has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 44-year-old Jacoby Jones.

The collision happened on Turk Boulevard near Central Avenue around 2:35 p.m. Monday, police said.

Jones, a San Francisco resident, reportedly collided with a vehicle and the impact caused him to be ejected from the motorcycle. Medical crews pronounced him dead at the scene, according to police.

No one else was injured in the wreck, police said.
