Two earthquakes strike near San Leandro in under 10 minutes

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.2 struck about 1.75 miles east/southeast of San Leandro at 11:43 a.m. Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey website reported.

The preliminary reading showed a depth of 6.2 miles.
