A magnitude 3.2 earthquake followed a 2.6 within less than 10 minutes near San Leandro, Calif. Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020.
An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.2 struck about 1.75 miles east/southeast of San Leandro at 11:43 a.m. Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey website reported.
The preliminary reading showed a depth of 6.2 miles.
A 2.6 magnitude quake was reported in the same area about eight minutes earlier.
