Police investigate Oakland shooting that killed one person, injured three others

Police in Oakland are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and sent three people to the hospital Thursday night.

Officers with the Oakland Police Department responded around 10 p.m. to reports of shots fired in the 4500 block of Fairfax Avenue in East Oakland.

Police said four men were found suffering from gunshots wounds.

One of the victims died, and the three others were transported to the hospital.

Police said investigators are looking for two to five suspects in the shooting.

As of Friday morning, no arrests had been made in connection with the shooting, according to police.

No other information about the shooting was immediately available.
