A skateboarder was struck by a vehicle in the Mission Terrace neighborhood Friday at around 1:03 p.m., San Francisco police reported.
Officers arrived at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Alemany Boulevard and found the injured 16-year-old male skateboarder. The victim was transferred to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, said Officer Robert Rueca.
Rueca said the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with police officers with their investigation. Impairment does not seem to be a factor in the collision.
