Bayview shooting injures 38-year-old man outside store

A shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Friday night left a 38-year-old man injured outside of a store, police said Monday.

The shooting was reported at 8:21 p.m. in the area of Third Street and Quesada Avenue.

The victim was outside of a store when he heard gunfire and realized he had been struck. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries that are not life-threatening, according to police.

No arrest has been made in connection with the shooting and no suspect information was available Monday morning. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message.
