Caltrans is beginning a pipe replacement project on Highway 1 just outside Marshall, Calif. on Monday, August 3, 2020. The project is expected to take two weeks and will impact area traffic with the closure of one lane.
Caltrans on Monday will begin a culvert pipe replacement project to repair the road crossing on state Highway 1 just outside the town of Marshall in Marin County.
The project is expected to last two weeks, and work will be done during the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
The two lanes of state Highway 1 will be reduced to one lane.
Crews will be onsite to flag motorists through the work zone at five-minute intervals in northbound and southbound directions.
Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and be prepared to stop when traveling through this area during the project.
