Two people suffered life-threatening injuries in separate vehicle collisions over the weekend, San Francisco police said.
The first incident occurred Friday at the intersection of Van Ness Avenue and Grove Street near City Hall at approximately 9:28 p.m.
A 50-year-old male driving a sedan struck a 26-year-old male bicyclist at the intersection, police said. The driver remained at the scene and was not arrested.
The second vehicle collision happened Sunday around 9:40 p.m. in the Mission District.
At the scene, a 25-year-old male driving a sedan struck a 21-year-old motorcyclist at 24th and Mission streets, police said. The driver of the sedan remained at the scene.
Police do not believe impairment was a factor.
