Firefighters battle 45-acre San Jose blaze near Alum Rock Park

Crews are at the scene of a brush fire Saturday near Alum Rock Park east of San Jose.

The fire, dubbed the Alum Fire reported about 10:45 a.m. near Crothers and Echo Knolls roads, has burned an estimated 45 acres and has potential to burn up to 100 acres, the Cal Fire posted on social media about just before noon.
