BART trains not stopping at Hayward station due to ‘major medical emergency’

BART trains in both directions on the Berryessa line are rolling through the Hayward station Sunday night without stopping because of what the transit agency is calling a “major medical emergency.”

The Hayward station is completely closed as of 9:05 p.m.

There was no further information about specifics of the emergency, but BART advises to anticipate a delay of at least 20 minutes for Richmond-bound trains on that line. Trains are now being single-tracked through that station.

Mutual aid for passengers planning to use that station is available by using AC Transit buses No. 10 and No. 99.
